"Both of these canoes are often-recommended boats for paddlers seeking a canoe that inspires immediate confidence."  but beyond that they don't really have that much in common.  So which one should you buy?

Shields lays it out on the table and gives you the pros and cons of both of these boats so that you make sure you pick up the one that best suits where and how you paddle.  "The Zephyr's lightness is certainly appealing" however the Outrage "...proven Royalex construction is resistant to impact in cruel river playgrounds..."
