The Canadian rafting championship is a competition that allows white water and adrenaline sport enthusiasts to compete in a friendly and festive event. This 3-day event allows Canada to select its top men and women’s team and also its top junior teams to represent Canada at the 2012 World rafting championship.

This year's championship will include sprint, head-to-head, slalom and downriver events. The sprint, head-to-head and slalom will be held on the Sables River and the downriver will be held on Tuesday on the Tewkesbury section of the Jacques- Cartier River in Quebec.

Here's video from previous year's championships.

All you need is a team of 4 people and your paddling gear. The boats will be provided by the event. You can now register your team at www.2011canadianraftingchampionship.com.
