Stiff competition faced athletes in Wausau, Wisconsin, this past weekend as they duked it out on Wausau Whitewater Park's slalom course for positions on the USA Canoe Kayak 2010 team.

The 2010 team consists of a diverse group of athletes including former Olympians Brett Heyl, Casey Eichfeld and Ben Fraker, and young rising stars like Wisconsin's own Hailey Thompson.
