We know you enjoy reading Rapid, hanging out, paddling and learning at Palmer Fest, attending screenings of the Reel Paddling Film Festival, and getting your daily fix of all things whitewater on Rapidmag.com. So why not give you regular, televesion-style episodes featuring insider looks at the latest events, gear, boats, films, expeditions and more? We do call ourselves Rapid Media after all...it kinda just makes sense.

Why webisodes? "Why not?" says Rapid publisher, Rapid Media founder and Rapid  Media TV producer Scott MacGregor. "This new video magazine project combines Rapid, Adventure Kayak, Canoeroots and Kayak Angler print magazines and the Reel Paddling Film Festival. There are a lot of good stories [in paddlesports] and we want to share them with our readers," he says.

Watch the pilot episode below. It's none too polished, we admit. Remember the first season of Seinfeld or The Simpsons? This is our first kick at the cat, but don't worry, MacGregor promises he won't tent his fingers like Mr. Burns anymore in the next episode.
