Don't Forget Your Rubber

Saturday September 4th and Sunday September 5th rafters will battle it out to see who can push their rubber down the river the fastest in the 2010 edition of the Canadian Rafting Championships.

Québec Raft in collaboration with the Canadian Rafting Competition committee and the International Rafting Federation  (I.R.F.) is proud to announce that the Canadian Rafting Championships 2010 will take place the long weekend of September in the Saguenay-Lac-Saint-Jean area.

This year compitions will take place on two rivers in the province of Quebec. The Mistassibi River and the Rivière Aux-Sables.

The results of the Canadian Rafting Championships will determine who will represent Canada at the Worlds Rafting Championships which will take place in Costa Rica in 2011.

Québec Raft would like to extend an invitation to teams of all skill levels to participate in the races.

On Saturday, September 4th the Sprint and Slalom events will be held at the Rivière Aux-Sables by CÉPAL, Jonquière, Quebec

On Sunday, September 5th the Down River events will be held at the Mistassibi River by Québec Raft, St-Stanislas, Quebec.

Team registration fees will be $350 per team of 6 + 1 spare.  

People and teams that aren't registered with the Fédération Canot et Kayak d?eau vive du Québec will have to pay an extra $10 per person.
