Freestyle Athletes Test New Team Selection System

The inaugural USA Freestyle Kayak Points Series kicked off at the Nantahala Outdoor Center in April. National Champion hopefuls compete in a series of five events, culminating with the National Championships and 2011 Team Trials in July in Missoula, Montana.

Former Freestyle Competitor Wants Worlds Gold

Former professional freestyle kayaker Polly Green wants a gold medal at the next World Championships. After a disappointing 5th place finish at the 2003 Worlds, Green left competitive kayaking. Now, she says, she's back.
