Expedition Returns from Oz
Freestyle kayaking icon Anthony Yap and a team of experienced paddlers returned from their month-long, self-supported paddling expedition in Australia's remote Kimberley region with stories of crocs, ancient artifacts, wild water and more.
After driving 10,000 kilometres cross-country (picutre a trans-Canada roadtrip, only hotter), the team arrived in the Kimberley just in time for monsoon season. The hope was that their timing would score them rain-swollen rivers and monster surf waves.
Find out what they got instead at expedition member Louise Urwin's blog. But first, here are some cool photos from the adventure, courtesy Lu and Tyler Fox.
