Does anyone use paddle wax in the cold weather?

I haven't used it in awhile since i wear mitts but was thinking of it to glue my hands to the paddle.

I think it all depends on the mitts/gloves you use. I have the NRS toaster mitts and don't find I need wax because the gloves are actually quite grippy. I also prefer to use pogies (unless it's really cold) because then you don't lose any of the feel of your paddle and they are still really warm.
