This is a preview of Dougie Down the Pet, one of twelve chapters on the new canoe film, This is Canoeing by Justine Curgenven.My four-year-old son Doug, Paul Brittian and I, Scott MacGregor publisher of Canoeroots magazine, paddled Algonquin Park's Petawawa River last fall adding a classic whitewater route and this father-son story to my friend Justine's recently released DVD.
